Five Fires Foundation
The Five Fires Foundation is committed to investing in the future of Y-Camp by supporting projects that will preserve, enhance, and expand the camp experience for generations to come. Our Future Projects showcase planned improvements, new opportunities, and long-term investments that will strengthen camp's facilities, programs, and gathering spaces. With the support of generous donors, these visions can become realities and help ensure Y-Camp's legacy continues to grow.
Zipline/Ropes Course
This project will transform an existing open area into the home of a new, modern zipline and ropes course experience at Y-Camp. Designed with updated safety features and current adventure standards in mind, the new outdoor adventures course will provide campers with an exciting and memorable activity while ensuring the space can be enjoyed safely for generations to come. Great for team building activities and developing individual self confidence.
Pool House
The pool is one of the most loved and memorable places at Y-Camp. For generations, campers have spent countless hours swimming, laughing, and making lifelong memories here. This project will update and expand the Pool House to be a more usable space while preserving this important camp landmark.
The project will also address important structural concerns within the existing Pool House. Strengthening and rebuilding key portions of the facility will help protect this beloved space and ensure it remains safe, stable, and welcoming for campers and families for generations to come.
Lila's Orchard
Lila’s Orchard is growing into a place where campers can connect with nature, agriculture, and hands-on learning. Donations will help expand the orchard through the addition of a greenhouse, increased production of pumpkins and apple trees, and the future development of an outdoor Green Bin Classroom. These improvements will transform the orchard into a year-round educational space while preserving and enhancing this special area of camp for generations to come.
The Cabins
The camper cabins are where friendships are built, stories are shared, and memories are made each day at Y-Camp. As these well-loved spaces continue to age, renovations are needed to improve their condition and ensure they remain comfortable for future generations.
Planned upgrades include modern bathrooms, indoor showers, air conditioning, updated electrical systems, and other improvements that will enhance comfort while preserving the cabin experience that campers know and love.
